How did you become an artist?

I was in love with Japanese shoujo manga since I was very young and wanted to become a mangaka when I grew up. I wasn't allowed to draw often due to schoolwork, so I only doodled with pencil on binder paper and in the margins of my homework assignments. But when I was 15 years old, my parents gave me a tablet and Clip Studio Paint as a Christmas present. I immediately found joy in digital illustration. Since that Christmas, I've been drawing almost every day.

Where do you get inspiration?

Lately I've been really inspired by early 2000s (Y2K) aesthetics.
They remind me of things I enjoyed as a child（*´▽｀*）

What do you like best about Clip Studio Paint?

I believe Clip Studio Paint is one of the most versatile programs available to all artists. It is beginner friendly with customizable workspaces and a huge quantity of free user-generated resources and tutorials. Clip Studio Paint has so much to offer for all types of artists (I've even converted a few animator friends to move to using this program exclusively !!).

How long does it take you to make a single illustration?

Anywhere from several days to a few hours (depending on how caffeinated I am).

How has Clip Studio Paint improved your workflow?

As a self taught artist who has used CSP for 7+ years, I've found that CSP's ease of customization has made my work process much more efficient and enjoyable.
