How did you become an artist?
Hi! My name is Ari! I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. I’ve always enjoyed everything creative and artistic and it’s one of my biggest joys in life :)
Where do you get inspiration?
I get my inspiration from my oldest sister, @ebonymuseart. Growing up, she taught me a lot about art and I believe I wouldn’t be where I am without her today. However, my specific artstyle is inspired by baaozhe, saiprinsk, seansketches, sesamefruit (who are all available on instagram) and rei_17 who is available on twitter.
What’s your hardware setup?
My hardware setup consists of an Asus ROG STRIX G15 and an AOC 180hz monitor. This is definitely a gaming setup but it is really good for handling my huge art files!
What do you like best about Clip Studio Paint?
I really love Clip Studio Paint for the vast amount of tools available and the professional setup similar to Photoshop which I have used in the past. It has pretty much every brush and asset you’ll need to create illustrations, animations, and comics!
How long does it take you to make a single illustration?
On average, it takes me about 6 hours to create a single illustration. It does depend on if there’s multiple characters, intricate backgrounds and whatnot. The most time I’ve spent on a drawing is around 26 hours :)
How has Clip Studio Paint improved your workflow?
Clip Studio Paint has drastically improved my workflow because the vast amounts of assets and filters have reduced my time spent coloring and rendering.
