How did you become an artist?

As long as I remember, I’ve always drawn, my course books were covered by sketches. My grandmother loves to paint, my father draws a lot, and I grew up in a house full of books covers, comics… It helps a lot to become an artist. I wasn’t into social media so I’ve always only shared my work with family and friends, everything has changed with Covid, I decided to put myself really into it and to give myself a chance to do what I love the most for a living.

Where do you get inspiration?

Everywhere, from nature, history and myths, books, movies, video games. I love to take inspiration from artistic movements that I love : art nouveau especially.

What’s your hardware setup?

I work mostly with my iPad Pro, but when I'm on my computer, I'm working with an Artist 16 from XPpen. I'm thinking about going with a bigger tablet next year, still looking for THE one.

What do you like best about Clip Studio Paint?

The software is so complete and I love the community aspect of Clip Studio Paint. It’s a little bit complex when you start with it but when you have it in your hands, you can do whatever you want with it.

How long does it take you to make a single illustration?

It depends, if it’s a little portrait, it can take me between 2 to 4 hours, but when I’m working on bigger pieces it can go up to more than 20, 30 hours…

How has Clip Studio Paint improved your workflow?

Clip Studio Paint improved my way to do coloring! Some of the tools created by the community like the intelligent eraser brush are gems that make me win a lot of time. I've started looking after the Webtoon mode and it seems super complete and really intuitive.

Would you like to promote a recent project?

I’m working on an illustrated novels book but I can’t tell you more at the moment 😇
