How did you become an artist?
Well, drawing has always been part of my life. From a very young age I found that drawing helped me communicate in a certain way, I drew (or tried to) draw animals, places, characters that I liked and little by little I began to create my own.
I think that for many artists, and I was no exception, animation (movies and series) was the first thing that excited me about seeing art as a profession but when I was approximately 7 years old my grandmother gave me my first Manga and that was when I found In comics what I was most passionate about: Creating stories.
(If you want to know, the first printed Manga I got my hands on was "DRAMACON" by Svetlana Chmakova.)
Where do you get inspiration?
To tell the truth, a little bit of everything. Everything that surrounds us can become an element that inspires our work.
I like to create concepts from objects, animals, flowers, etc. "Hybridization" is part of my style.
I do my best to watch and read about as many topics as possible so that it enriches my process. I am an extreme lover of all kinds of movies, animated series and manga.
What’s your hardware setup?
My work setup is my Dell Laptop, my iPad Pro 11' and I currently use an XP-Pen Artist Pro 16 Gen 2 tablet.
What do you like best about Clip Studio Paint?
As a comic author, what I love most about Clip Studio Paint are the lettering, perspective, and screen tone tools.
How long does it take you to make a single illustration?
It completely depends on what type of project it is and sometimes what mood you are working in.
It can take from 2 hours to several days.
How has Clip Studio Paint improved your workflow?
I started using Clip Studio Paint when it was still known as Manga Studio and it was certainly a revolution for me.
The amount of tools, resources, brushes and the huge community that creates and shares assets has helped me a lot to make my work process more efficient.
Would you like to promote a recent project?
I invite you to learn more about my projects and stories.
This year the second edition of my bestiary of fantasy creatures "CENNET" was released and my new artbook "Mermaid Perfumes" is coming soon.
And in case you like dark psychological stories, my project BOYS of the NIGHT is currently being published in webcomic format.
Where can we follow your work?
