How did you become an artist?

When I was 9 I was sent to a new school, where I met my first girl friends, who happened to spend the time drawing about series and video games they liked (My Little Pony, Five Nights at Freddy’s, etc) so drawing became a daily routine, slowly I started to notice I really liked it and started to spend more and more time practicing and improving my skills, which leaded me to where I am now! Even today we are still good friends.

Where do you get inspiration?

By now my biggest inspiration are the artworks of DSマイル (@DSmile9 on twitter). I would really like my artworks to be just as good and charming as theirs some day soon! I also usually search for references on Pinterest when I'm lost on how to draw something, or when I want to take a look to other artists artworks to make an idea of what kind of vibe I want to give my Illustration.

What’s your hardware setup?

I use an Ipad pro 12,9 inch of 5th generation and a Dell Monitor as second screen, and Clip Studio Paint Ex as my principal drawing software.

What do you like best about Clip Studio Paint?

I think I really like how realistically you can make the colors blend, its a really well done feature compared to other drawing programs, at least in my experience. Also I really love that you can download so many free brushes of other artist from Clip Studio Assets, sometimes it really makes your life easier! I really like Clip Studio Paint in general, it would be difficult to list everything I like about it haha.

How long does it take you to make a single illustration?

It really depends on how complex I want it to be. But lately I’ve spend around 14-20 hours per Illustration.

How has Clip Studio Paint improved your workflow?

Clip Studio Paint has so many useful features that since I discovered it for the first time I’ve never stopped using it! Is really comfortable once you get accustomed to the place everything is, and is also really cool that you can customize the interface to your liking, honestly is a really fluent experience to illustrate and even animate with Clip Studio Paint.

Would you like to promote some recent project?

I’ve recently opened an Etsy store where I sell some of my illustrations as prints and other products like stickers and notebooks to help me save for college, so if you like you can go check it out!

Where can we follow your work?

My principal social media right now is Instagram (_bluberri), but Im planning on getting more active on Youtube (@bluberri149) and TikTok (@_blu.berri) as soon as I find some time to work on content! So you can follow me there too while you wait for fresh news on my Insta :).
