How did you become an artist?

I have always been passionate about drawing. I started as a hobby, and while studying graphic design, I realized I could combine both passions by becoming an illustrator.
So far, the journey has been fantastic, and I have had the opportunity to work in countries like the US, France, Chile, Spain and of course Mexico.

Where do you get inspiration?

Movies and books, as well as other artists I admire, especially those in commercial illustration.

What’s your hardware setup?

I use a Mac Mini and a Wacom Cintiq 13”.

What do you like best about Clip Studio Paint?

I love how customizable it is, allowing you to have the tools you need right at hand, or to download valuable assets. I remember being hesitant to learn it at first because the interface seemed complicated, but once I customized it to my preferences, it became one of my favorite tools for illustrating.

How long does it take you to make a single illustration?

It can vary—from 2 hours to two days—depending on the complexity.

How has Clip Studio Paint improved your workflow?

It makes the comic creation process incredibly easy thanks to its tools in the EX version. It has easily cut my production time in half. It has also significantly improved my understanding of perspective with its 3D tools.
